Randy Montague ('74) lives in Raleigh with his wife, Diane. Randy retired as a Detective Sergeant from the Wake County Sheriff's Department after serving 10 years from 1977-1986. He received his Private Investigators License in October of 1986. He now owns and operates Montague Investigative Services in Raleigh. Angela (Hardee, '74) Slate has taught for 30 years. She is presently at Martin GT Magnet Middle School in Raleigh, where she has taught for 25 years. Angela teaches 7th grade Math, as well as, Pre-Algebra and Algebra. She is also the Innovator Team Leader and Student Council Advisor. (updated 3/08)

John Whitaker ('78) lives in Fayetteville. He has four children. John faithfully served our country and is a disabled veteran. While in the service, John was in the US Army Military Intelligence with Ground Surveillance Systems, SGT (Squad Leader). He served in the following areas: FT Huachuca, AZ, Germany, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, FT Campbell, KY, FT Bliss, TX, and FT. Hood, TX. He received Military Intelligence Training at FT. Huachuca. While serving our country John received the following Awards: Air Assault Badge (Combat Rappelling and Rigging) 101st Airborne, Four Army Commendation Medals, Six Army Achievement Medals, Two Good conduct Medals, Southwest Asia Medal Three Stars, NCO Developmental Service Medal, National Defense Medal and the

Roger Sanders ('80) and his wife Beth live in Fuquay-Varina. Roger is a Global Systems Engineer with Network Appliance, Inc. He has been designing and developing database applications for more than 18 years and has worked with DB2 Universal Database and its predecessors since it was first introduced on the IBM PC (as part of OS/2 Extended Edition). He has written several articles for publications such as IDUG Solutions Journal and Certification Magazine, authored tutorials for the "DB2 Version 8.1 Family Fundamentals Certification Preparation" and the "DB2 Version 8.1 Family Application Development Certification Preparation" series (both of which can be found on IBM's developer Works Web site), presented at several International DB2 User's Group (IDUG) and regional DB2 User's Group (RUG) conferences, and is the author of both a regular column in DB2 Magazine and more than 10 books. Pam (Corbett, '82) and John Griffin ('82) live in Fuquay-Varina with their two-year old daughter. After teaching at WCA, Pam realized her dream of having a poultry farm. The couple have two poultry houses and raise pumpkins and fresh flowers. John is employed full time with the Cotton Growers Cooperative. They have now embarked on a new endeavor, Hector's Creek Corn Maze. The corn maze operates September through October. (updated 10/05)

Jimmy Hardee ('84) lives in Okinawa, Japan, where he works on Torii Station as the HR Clerk in Military Personnel Division. He is currently a contractor for the Army, where he instructs tactics to the soldiers who are being deployed. Jim is also a SSG in the reserves after having served 14 years in active duty. Ken Norris ('84) lives in Raleigh, where he owns and operates his photography business. After working part time at his photography business since 1994, and working for about seven years in the emergency communications business, he decided it was time to devote himself full time to his passion, photography. Ken says, "When you can manage to take something you have a passion for, in my case the photography, and turn it into a business, then its not really work its like playing all day long and getting paid." Philip Bell ('93) lives in Land O Lakes, Wisconsin with his wife, Deena. He served in the U.S. Army from 1996-1999, where he was stationed at Fort Hood, TX and also Camp Gary Owen, Korea. In 2003 Philip graduated from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY with an Associate degree in Culinary Arts. After marrying Deena in 2004, he went back to school, graduating in 2005 from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor's in Hospitality Management. Philip and Deena moved to Land O Lakes in 2006 to become a private chef. He and Deena live in the vacation home of a family from the Chicago area. Philip does the shopping and cooking for the family when they are there,

Rob Fish ('96) and his wife, Laura, live in Greenville, NC. Rob and Laura were married in July 2005. She is currently in her residency in Emergency Medicine at Pitt Memorial Hospital. After graduating from North Carolina State University with a BS degree in Zoology, Rob continued his education at East Carolina University, where he completed a Masters in Cell Biology in June 2004. On May 11, 2008 Rob received his Doctorate in Medicine. After Dr. Harry Adams, professor emeritus at the Brody School of Medicine at ECU, spoke at commencement, Rob, 2008 class president, gave the class response. In March of this year, 2008, Rob was accepted into the Radiology Residency Program at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He and Laura will move there next June after Laura completes her ER residency and Rob completes his first year of residency in surgery. He will then start his 5 year residency in radiology. He is a board member for the NCSU Campus Coalition (dealing with alcohol and drug related issues for students), and also on the State Advisory Board for MADD NC (Mothers Against Drunk Driving). He is the founder of an outreach ministry for college students called the Lighthouse @ Raleigh. They are partnered with the SAM Spady Foundation ( http://www.samspadyfoundation.org/) to help educate students on the dangers of alcohol poisoning, binge drinking, and high risk behavior with alcohol. They recently have been to Colorado with Jars of Clay and Derek Webb, hosted concerts here in Raleigh for Derek Webb, John Davis, and Sandra McCracken. They also work with the Raleigh Police Department, NCSU Campus Police and NC ALE to help with events such the Hillsborough Hike, where they provide water to students and DWI Check Points.

Bittany (Waggoner, '99) Hochstaetter married Peter Hochstaetter on Nov. 11, 2006 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Willow Spring. They met at Cedarville University in Ohio. Peter is originally from NY and is working at Siemens Medical Solutions in Cary. Brittany taught high school English at WCA for three years before resigning May 2007. In May of 08 she completed her Master's degree in communication at Regent University. She will be teaching communications courses through Johnston Community College's Huskins program in the fall of 08. Matt McLeod ('99) and his wife, Emily, live in Victoria, Texas, where Matt is the Athletic Director and Dean of Students at Faith Academy. This past season he led the varsity boy's basketball team to the Regional Finals and was named the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Outstanding Coach of the Year. He has also spent time there coaching baseball and track and field. Matt and Emily became proud parents in February when Olivia Mae McLeod was born. While at Campbell, Justin served 3 years in the student government association, where he held various cabinet positions and chaired the rules committee. He was inducted into three academic societies: Pi Sigma Alpha, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Pi Gamma Mu. Since graduation, Justin has consulted on state political campaigns, served on various charity committees, and is pursuing his private pilot's license. Currently, Justin is serving as Deputy Clerk to Wake County Clerk of Superior Court of NC. He also serves as Chief Legislative Liaison for the Clerk of Court.
