For the week of November 17, 2008

General announcements:

• JOY TOYS collection will be the week of Dec. 1 - Dec. 5.  Please support this important mission project of Child Evangelism Fellowship and Pastor Bob!  Collection boxes will be placed in the lobby of the elementary building.
• November is here!  Most of us are beginning to make plans for Thanksgiving and Christmas now.  Our class is, too!  On December 3, we will present our Christmas program in both the 8:30 and the 9:30 chapel services at school.  Additionally, we will have our craft day on December 3.  We will eat lunch in the room at 11:30 and commence working on crafts at approximately 12:00.  
• Your child must study the weekly Bible verse and the Spelling/Vocabulary words every day!  Please ensure that your child spends about 15 minutes each day on these items.  It makes a HUGE difference on test day.  Simply studying on Thursday before the test is not enough.
• Accelerated Reading has begun.  Two tests are due by the end of November.  Please make sure your child is reading books on their level.  Children who have not completed their AR requirements will have to read during recess until they pass two AR tests.

• Begin studying for Science test.  Science test will be given on Thursday, Nov. 20.

Tuesday  

• Study for Science test which will be given on Thursday, Nov. 20. 
• Study for Unit 7 spelling and vocabulary trial tests.
• Study 1 Corinthians 13:10.

Wednesday

Thursday 

• Study for units of time measures quiz. 
• Study for Unit 7 spelling and vocabulary tests.
• Study 1 Corinthians 13:10.

• Have a good weekend!
