The week of  November 17-21

  General Information

  • Homework will be given on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.  It must be completed by the time the bell rings at the beginning of class.  If it is not complete, the student recieves a zero.  The student can make up the incomplete homework assignment however, only half credit will be given. 
  • Tutoring times are Monday and Tuesday from 3:00 - 3:30.
  • Please remember erasers for dry-erase boards along with a ziplock bag to store.  
  • Tissues are very much needed for my classroom. I will provide one homework pass for 2 boxes of tissues. Only one pass per student.  Thank you!
  • All chapter tests must be signed by parent if the grade is a 75 or less.

  Supplies for Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1

  1. Pocket folder [1]
  2. Hard covered composition notebook [2]
  3. Graph paper [1 package]
  4. Wide ruled notebook paper [1 package]
  5. Red pens [2]
  6. Protractor
  7. Compass
  8. Calculator
  9. Dry erase markers [4]
  10. Expanding accordion file [4 compartments minimum]
  11. Pencils
  12. Ruler

Assignments: Pre-algebra(7th grade)

 

  • Monday:  Chapter 7 Review
  • Tuesday: Chapter 7 Test
  • Wednesday: Lesson 8.1 and 8.2
  • Thursday: Lesson 8.3 (HW-1-10 even) and Lesson 8.4 (HW-1-30 even)
  • Friday: Lesson 8.5 (HW- 1-24 all)

Note: Subject to change

Assignments: Pre-Algebra (8th grade)

  • Monday:  Lesson 7.6 (HW-1-33 even) and Lesson 7.7 (HW-1-12 all)   
  • Tuesday: Quiz(Lesson 7.3-7.5) and  Lesson 7.7 (HW-13-30 all)
  • Wednesday:  Chapter 7 Review
  • Thursday: Chapter 7 Worksheets
  •  Friday: Chapter 7 Test

Assignments: Algebra 1

  • Monday:  Chapter 5 Review  
  • Tuesday:  Chapter 5 Test
  • Wednesday: Lesson 6.1
  • Thursday:  Lesson 6.2 (HW-1-17 all)
  • Friday:   Lesson 6.3 (HW-1-21 even)

Note: Subject to change 

Extra Credit

  •  Extra Credit will be awarded to students that work review problems at end of each chapter in math book.  These problems must be completed on testing day, and stapled to test paper. Credit will be given according to work shown and problems correct.
  • Algebra 1 students will receive extra credit for even problems only in the chapter reveiw.
