• Honors Biology: you will need a calculator: Texas Instruments 83plus or 84plus.
• Remember: take good class notes.
• Study daily: class notes & the text content we cover in class.
• Read/outline ahead of class. It really helps me to help you to understand everything.
• Write down your questions and either email them to me or give them to me in class.

Remember the Stem Cell paper, which is due December 12, 2008. You will discuss what stem cells are and how they're used. This is not an opinion paper, but you may render an opinion after the 5-page research portion. The usual: bound/stapled, MLA, 1" margins, at least 5 primary sources, cite references, works cited page at the end. There must be 5 full pages of research paper, not counting any headings, etc. Number the pages.

Physics

• Mon: Go over last test, review for new Test (In light of the Seniors' Retreat last week, looking at the quizzes and tests along with confusion about the use of formulas at the height of a toss up, we will have another test before the Quarter Test. The retreat was well worthwhile, but the Seniors also needed more review before the test. The new test will include friction, (p 133)which we will cover this week.
