TAKE YOUR INSTRUMENTS HOME AND PRACTICE (all the hard pieces)!!!
Bring pencil and cloth for cleaning instrument
All violin and viola students must have some type of shoulder rest. This helps hold instrument up and gives you better posture so your neck doesn't get cramped.
All book $ is due.

Be sure to take care of your instuments - they are like babies. You cannot leave them in the hot or the cold.
Strings I meets on even days. When class is on MWF, the time is 12:20 - 1:10. When class is on TTh, the time is 12:30 - 1:20.

High School Strings is now an Honors Class (way to go you guys!), along with being a communications elective. Because we meet every other day, it is 1/2 credit per year.
Must have books at the beginning of each class or you know what!

Elementary General Music K-5th grade
Canada is our culture/country for the year. If you have any 'stuff' from Canada you can bring it in and show us.
Since this is a presidential election year, we will be working on patriotic music this fall.
