My name is Sichen Qi, and I first came to Wake Christian Academy during my sophomore year of high school. From the moment I joined the WCA community, I felt welcomed by both the teachers and students, and I quickly found a place where I could grow academically, spiritually, and personally.
While attending WCA, I was involved in the track and field team as well as the orchestra program. Both experiences taught me important lessons about teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. One of my favorite memories at WCA was being selected as a Junior Marshal and participating in the graduation ceremony. It was a proud and meaningful experience because it reminded me how much I had grown during my time at the school.
After graduation, I plan to attend college and study Computer Science and Mathematics. In the future, I hope to use the knowledge and skills I gain to improve society and make a positive impact on the world through technology and innovation.
My advice to future students is to listen carefully to the guidance of your teachers and to follow Christ’s teachings. Use your time at WCA not only to grow academically, but also to grow spiritually and become a better person. Always strive to improve yourself, work hard, and remember that character and faith are just as important as success.
