My name is Ethan Woodard, and I first came to Wake Christian Academy at the beginning of my sophomore year. Though I may not have been here since the very beginning, WCA quickly became home, and I’m grateful for every moment I’ve had within these halls over the past three years.
During my time at WCA, I was involved in a number of student-led activities that helped shape who I am today. These experiences taught me the value of community, leadership, and showing up for the people around you. Of all the moments I’ll carry with me, homecoming week stands out as my favorite — the energy, the school spirit, and the memories made with friends are things I’ll never forget.
After graduation, I plan to attend Western Carolina University, where I will be studying Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology. I’m excited to dive into a field that challenges me to think critically and create solutions, and I can’t wait to see where this next chapter leads.
To the students still walking these halls — cherish every season you’re in, even the hard ones. Time moves faster than you think, and the moments that feel ordinary now are the ones you’ll look back on and treasure the most. Work hard, stay humble, and never take for granted the community you have right here at WCA.
